With over 20 years in the film industry and a dedicated makeup career since 2017, Rachel Gassi brings a uniquely cinematic eye to every set. Born in Sault Ste. Marie and based in Toronto, she works across film, television, commercials, and editorial — and travels wherever the work takes her.
Rachel's television credits read like a streaming queue: Ginny & Georgia, The Boys, The Testaments, Reacher, Mrs. America, Brilliant Minds, Sheriff Country, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and Starfleet Academy — to name a few. On the commercial side, she has worked with No Frills, Sobeys, Coca-Cola, Aveeno, and Fuji, among others.
Her roster of high-profile music clients includes legendary names like Kirk Hammett of Metallica and Kenny Aronoff — artists who call on her because she treats the chair like a professional, not a fan. She offers the same focused energy to every job, whether it's a gritty SPFX prosthetic, a 1940s glamour wave, or a bridal updo on the most important morning of someone's life.
